anyone knows why those things that're supposed to be on the left side are now at the bottom of the page? (or is it just my laptop that shows up like that? cause it shows up on both my firefox & ie at the bottom.. O.o?)
okie! so i've decided x] question of the month thingy will be posted on the left column thingy... but since that thing is now at the bottom of the page, you'll have to burn a few extra calories to scroll down to get it x] & i'll try to put three questions each month, probably about the most randomest things, or things that i just wanna know about you guys. haha and of course if you guys have any suggestion on the questions, or have something anxious to ask any of us, feel free to suggest some in your post either by like.. bolding it, capitalizing it, or something to make it stand out from the rest of your posts. and the questions of the month thing will start... september! (: i already have one question haha
i still have to get off my lazy bum to invite some more people on here... -__-; haha i think senioritis starts the summer before senior year, and goes all the way till.. who knows when; hopefully for me it'll end when i get into college.. -.-; that's all for now.
OH! party at carin's house on saturday, august 30th (: haha
(and surprisingly i've read almost everyone's post... sorry juli, i skimmed through yours.. it was like... a five page essay =X)
until next time!

As the Days Pass...
Okay, so, my first post here:
I was actually waiting for July to pass so I can blog on the first of August =D, but also because I had thought that by August first I would have something to blog about. Oh well, nothing in life is perfect. NOTHING >=( haha, jk jk. Now, let's see, what have I been up to...
Working... A lot. Since our days at Westmoor have ended (really? We're not going to pick up our schedule two (three?) weeks from now? We're not going to class at Westmoor anymore? Really?), I've been able to work almost twice as many hours, and you know what that means... Almost twice the paycheck! Well, not really, since the more I earn the more the government takes out in taxes, but it's still good. I now basically work from midday until closing, and all day weekends. Oh well, at least it's not stressful most of the time, and I get to sell more... Which brings us to...
Spending... Wisely, of course! I am now able to buy more of the stuff I spontaneously want (=D, no, I actually really take my time with my purchases and decide if it's really worth it, like when I go to Starbucks on Sunday mornings), like the iphone (white, of course, to match my gaming handhelds), an hp-4gb-memory-core-2-duo-processor-320gb-hard-drive laptop, oh and my very own AT&T Wireless account. And I can't forget, building credit along the way. Being 18 rocks! =D
Running! Yes, I'm still running, now an average of 7 miles a day (except Sundays... for now). To occupy myself throughout my loooong summer, I've been training with CCSF's Cross Country team, and, it turns out, I'm actually pretty good! I feel a whole lot faster than track season, which was when I really started to get into running (competitively, I mean), and ... okay, I don't want to bore you, but the runs are pretty fun, and most of them take place in Golden Gate Park (and around it). The coach expects us to be in the top 10 for the state meet, and I can confidently say that I have faith in myself and my teammates, and firmly believe we can accomplish that. I can't help but wonder what I would be like had I actually gotten into running earlier (but then I probably wouldn't have focused on academics, and that was an important (and difficult!) balance I maintained throughout high school).
There is something that's been on my mind recently, which I would like to share with you guys, and hopefully it helps you get up and be a leader (as if you guys aren't already =D). Okay, it's not a big issue, but it helps me better appreciate people. At this point of our summer, many of us are running out of time to "hang out", so everyone you talk to might tell you, "hey, let's plan something and get together", but nothing is ever done. Most of these are successful, but there are some that are outlandish, and quite frankly, disappoint me as they make me realize that these people are either just saying that to say it, or really believe that I can go to Bakersfield to meet up someone from San Diego and just "hang out". Anyway, my point in the beginning was that I appreciate the hard work that people go through to plan something out and get everyone involved, like Moe =D =D =D, because I remember she asked me what days I'm free. =D. And a real thank you goes out to all those other people that also plan stuff to do =D.
Oh, and on that note, the distance runners had a Saturday picnic planned, but of course it was postponed (as you might have read on Ronda's entertaining post (no sarcasm, I swear, I really laughed out loud)). The problem now is not when to hold a get-together, but what to do. Apparently there are people that would not have liked a nice, relaxing picnic in the sun (Ronda)... (just kidding, not Ronda), but would rather go ice skating. Hmm. So now we're back to square one.
Okay, so that was it. Hopefully you found it easy to skip some parts of my post, as I purposely separated different subjects =D. And hopefully I also inspired some of you to take the initiative in different things in life. But hopefully no one is even MORE bored than they were when they began reading this (long) post =D
Yeah =D
