It seems that today is Blog Day! Hah. Let's get this thing going...
I would have never thought so many things could happen in these past four months. There are the occasional, normal ups and downs, but there were so many things that happened that I will not soon forget. For me (and most likely for all), it was a season of new experiences. I've harmonized new friendships with my teammates (it helped that we ran with each other practically every single day except Sunday, and bonded through outings). I will always keep them in mind when I run, and wait for them to come to San Diego. I have also been much more involved at work, and I've been given much more responsibility. It's nice, and we've also have had a couple of guys night out, which I'd say, have been incredible nights of bonding, haha. Bond? James Bond. Uhh... anyway... I'm really glad we all got together Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. I missed everyone that was there. It was a nice get together, especially since there were over 25 people in total! Good job getting everyone together, Angela! Hah, it was fun.
Classes have been ridiculously easy... I'm not doing a good job of being modest, but nor am I exaggerating, unfortunately. It's partly my fault for not choosing the traditional "hard" classes, I guess. Due to the low intensity of these classes, I put off the occasionally assigned homework until either the day before, or the day of (a horrible habit that I hope is not developed, but rather only exercised). But, at least I'm having fun in all my classes, especially my Psyc 40 class (childhood and adolescent psychology). For our term paper/project, we had to find a child going through cognitive change... well, w/e let's just say, we had to find a child between the ages 7-11, and then do experiments with them, or gauge their development, then after writing the what-should-have-been-an-extensive-paper, we had to write a letter to the parents of the child, basically helping them raise their child. That was so tricky, because you don't want to put what you want to say in such a way that would enrage the parent and completely disregard your suggestions. But, I was able to finish it in enough hours before I had to turn it in that I was able to sleep a couple of hours. The point is, it was fun =)
I can't wait for our gathering! My last days here in Daly City will be great, hanging out with all circles of friends, and getting ready to leave and start living on my own (with roommates). Can't wait!
